Paul Robert Gilbert is a reader in Development, Justice & Inequality at the University of Sussex, where he teaches political ecology, critical approaches to development economics, and development history. He is a co-editor of the open-access image-centred volume Entangled Legacies of Empire: Race, Finance & Inequality (Manchester University Press, 2023).
